Terms of Carriage

Standard Commercial & Retail Courier Terms • Aurora Delivery Sdn Bhd

1. Agreement of Carriage

By tendering goods to Aurora Delivery Sdn Bhd ("the Carrier") via our drop-off counter, driver collection, or digital system booking at delivery.aurora2u.com, the sender ("the Shipper") agrees unconditionally to these Terms of Carriage on behalf of themselves and the recipient ("the Consignee").

2. Packaging & Shipper Declarations

The Shipper warrants that all parcels are adequately packaged to endure routine manual handling, mechanical conveyor sorting, and long-distance road/air transit.
Consignment labels must be clearly attached with correct recipient contact numbers, postcode, and unit address.
Chargeable weight is calculated based on the greater of actual gross scale weight or volumetric weight (L × W × H in cm / 5,000).

3. Dangerous Goods & Prohibited Items

Aurora Delivery strictly prohibits the carriage of the following items:

• Firearms, ammunition, and explosives

• Illegal narcotics and psychotropic drugs

• Flammable liquids, gases, and corrosive chemicals

• Counterfeit goods, currency notes, and bullion

• Unaccompanied living animals or raw perishables

• Lithium batteries exceeding air safety IATA regulations

Parcels containing prohibited items are subject to immediate seizure, law enforcement reporting, and cancellation of carriage without refund.

4. Delivery Attempts & Unclaimed Shipments

Up to three (3) delivery attempts will be performed. If the Consignee cannot be contacted or is unavailable, the parcel will be held at the nearest Aurora Delivery Hub for seven (7) business days. Unclaimed items after 7 days will be returned to the Shipper at standard return carriage rates.

5. Carrier Liability & Claim Limits

Standard Coverage: In the event of proven loss or physical damage caused directly by Carrier negligence, liability is capped at RM 200.00 per consignment or actual item invoice value (whichever is lower).
Enhanced Coverage / Marine Cargo: Senders of high-value goods (exceeding RM 200) are advised to purchase Aurora Enhanced Transit Insurance at 1.2% declared invoice value.
Claim Timeline: Claims for parcel damage or non-delivery must be submitted in writing with photographic proof within fourteen (14) days from the initial tracking registration date.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Carriage are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
